Mauritius Day 6

Sazzy got up late today... Badger went and got her some breakfast and bought it back to the room!!!

Sazzy eventually got up and we went to see the lady to have a look at booking some exciting trips outside of the hotel walls :)

The lady was patient and sat down and went through the details of what Sazzy was asking... She'd asked Badger what he would like to do for his birthday and he'd said walk with LIONS!!!! (REAL LIONS!!!!)

Jolly good show... we found out about hiring a car and booked two excursions for Thursday... and arranged to pick up the Mitso Lancer Thursday morning...

We both went straight back to the room and to bed!!!

Later on we woke up (lunchtime) went upto reception and got a taxi to the local village so that Sazzy could go to the bank and so that we could get toothpaste as we were suddenly running low!

Sazzy went to the bank where she was told there was only one place on the Island that she could changed Indian Rupees unless she did it at the hotel where it would be a terrible exchange rate.

Sazzy used the cash machine and our taxi then took us to a supermarket where we ambled around and picked up some packets of crisps... we were hungry... was impulse shopping... was nearly a pounds worth of crispies!!! lol!

Picked up some toothpaste and headed outside where Sazzy sat and had a fag, we then got back into our taxi and came back to the hotel....

We got straight out of the taxi and went straight for food.... After food we went back to the room and had a little nap... Badger then watched the F1 and Sazzy went and uploaded some pics to the website...

The evening is just a blur... LOL!!!
