Blogged before getting onto the plane, it was another beoing 777-300. Forgot to say I had a very quick spell in the smoking room at Dubai Airport, that was an experience I don't care to have again.
Went and checked in at the gate and they were so polite and nice... Very good morning to you Miss Sazzy (obviously my real name) and very good morning to you Mr Matthew... lol!!!
Emirates staff then asked for puppies passport and boarding card... I thought we were going to be leaving her to her own devices at Dubai international... Thankfully they let her on board and I didn't have to leave her to start a new life in the terminal building!!!
We boarded a half full plane... the Emirates staff did say to us that we could have an upgrade... for a trade of the puppy.... We didn't think first class was worth my life having to explain to mother puppy was now a part of the Emirates crew!!!
Take off was much much nicer this time... followed by a light snack of Chicken Fahita... (some fucking spicey chicken shit anyway!)? Sandwich and cooooooooookies!!! Puppy kept putting hers in her pocket and saying they were for the dogs at the other end ;-)
Puppy aquired yet another purple Emirates pillow... :-s!!! She pushed it into Badgers bag without anyone noticing...
After a short sleep... neither of us did a good job of it we were served breakfast which was omlette beans and well they were meant to be mushrooms... it was rancid... but all the same better than a kick in the teeth... by this point Badger and I had indulged in a fair amount of vodka and beer ;-) After all it was complimentary... and we started at b'ham early the morning before!!!
We arrived at Mauritius early this morning it was pissing down and only 24oC outside... but we you know managed on through the terminal building and stuff... will continue later!!!
