I got back in one piece and believe me we didn't want to come home!!!
I started my new job on my return at the City East Community Mental Health Unit in Leicester. It was an alright job, the people were amazing. I was there for quite some time, it got a bit much as my manager didn't like me, and the job was sooo busy.
I then went onto work for a company called tha group in Team Honda... which was interesting to start with but I got seriously bored of the data input and the price of fuel so after talking to the agency they told me it was not in their interest to increase my wages and took a job in Sunny Cambridge at the Addenbrook Hospital doing reception for a while.

MINI ADVENTURE DAY 12!!!!
Badger got up and went for breakfast, returning again with bread rolls for Sazzy :-)
Badger then went off to meet our mate RAVI!!!! to give him our driving licence details and to get the Keys for the car while Sazzy got up out of bed and dressed herself and sorted herself out to go out for the day!
Sazzy left to go meet Badger as he was on his way back, they would not accept his card as it was not a credit card so he needed Sazzys... :-( Oh dear....
All was sorted and we went to see the car... Sazzy nearly died when she saw it was red!!! (Red cars are bad luck lol)
Oooh it was all nice we were shown how to put the roof down and all the buttons etc!
We then got the last of our stuff, put the roof down and headed off on our Mini adventure!!!
After a fair amount of time... Badger had to pull over so we could put the roof up... it started to hammer it down! We then had the trouble of who had to stop breathing as we were completely steamed up lol!!!
We soon arrived in Curepipe... which was leathal on the shiny paving in flip flops so Badger spent most of the time holding Sazzy up, where we looked for the only bank that could change the Indian rupees.
We finally found the place to change them and got a poor exchange rate! But it was more spending money! :0)
Finally shopping time :) yey :) hehehehe:) We looked in some shops, starting first with the only real shop in the world, O'neill :) yey, here Sazzy purchased a long sleeved top which is gorgeous, MMMM!
Badger did not find anything of choice! :( we looked round more shops and didn't find much that interested us so we decided it was time to get food... we didnt take the Picnic this time as it was soo disappointing last time... Sazzy drove to KFC where Badger had a Zinger Burger and Sazzy had chicken nuggets and potatoe wedges...
After this Sazzy took the wheel and we drove north on the M1 to Port Louis!!!! (capital!) for MORE SHOPPING!!!! Avoiding the crazy bitch in the Polo we finally managed to park... it was very expensive 30mauritian rupees for 4 hours... (about 70p!!! lol)
We started off by going in the Roxy shop MMM (quicksilver for girls...) Sazzy couldn't find anything nice in her size... the sizes are all massive... so we then moved onto the Billabong ahop where Badger bought some awesome Camo trousers that do his bum a right treat! ;-)
We then moved onto the Quicksilver shop where nothing took our interest. We then moved round the corner to the Ladies Billabong shop which again was most disappointing as there were some nice things only in big sizes again :-(
After this Sazzy saw the Duty Free Diamond shop, where Badger looked at some watches, while Sazzy was trying to pursuade him what he was really looking for was a nice diamond for her hehe.... He was having none of it so we moved onto the indoor market with all the hand made things on the island from wooden carvings to hand paintings... We got a little warm in here and had to dash out for a quick beverage before continuing.
We did not see anything in here so we then headed around the Phase II of the shopping centre and went into more shops, including Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, Peace Angels, and a few more. Again nothing took our fancy so we went outside and took some pics of the port and some geek in massive rimmed glasses statue! (the guy on the bank notes!)
After this we went to Pizza hut so Sazzy could eat yet again! (She's such a fatty!!!) She had Pizza for one! Double cheese!!! We the went back to the car and headed off to Floreal... Knowing it might be closed by now... but hell Not going to cost us anything to find out!
So Badger at the wheel we hit the M1 again! (Only this time we were in rush hour traffic jam) Just like at home!
We got to Floreal and didn't think much, asides the fact everything was closed there was not as much there as we had been told. We got fuel and headed off (we were hoping a home bound direction) We soon found our way again and then realised we were still in the wrong place. We pulled over and exchanged drivers... Sazzy then stopped at the police station to ask for the directions... we were on the right track :-)
We got back to the hotel and decided not to unpack the car but to go straight for dinner... it was well deserved!!! The Waitress turned Badger back to go change his 3/4 length trousers... I promptly pointed out to her as she was seating me that there were lots of men in there with shorts on which was unfair...
Badger joined Sazzy after emptying the car and putting on his Loooovely new trousers...
For dinner we started by ordering Beer and B Freeze (for starters like) We then moved on and Badger had a few portions of Beef stuff... Lamb in rosemary and something or other... Pasta thingies... Bread etc... Sazzy had Beef Rague and gratan pasta with lots of bread and butter as usual....
After dinner we took the few paces across to the "B Bar" where we proceeded to get drunk... (like most nights then really) After this we turned in for the night! :-)

Day 11 Mauritius
When we half staggered back to our room last night we found a chocolate easter egg and two chocolate do do's sat outside our room for us :-) it was really sweet... we have pics somewhere.
Badger got up this morning and went for breakkie, leaving Sazzy in bed and returning with Bread rolls for her again. It was race day today so Badger stayed in and watched the race while Sazzy went off to the beach for a quick sunning before the rain set in as it was due to rain most of the day after about 11am!
It started to rain so Sazzy went in and showered and got ready then came out to the pub while Badger finished watching the race! (OH NO MORE FREE DRINKS!!!)
Badger came to join Sazzy in the pub and we each had a Steak Sandwich YUMMY!!! and continued to have beverages!
After Lunch had gone down we decided we were going to madagascar so we went back to our room and sorted ourselves out and went to the boat house to hire a pedle boat!!! yeyyyyy MADAGASCAR HERE WE COME! Or not! lol! We pedled out a bit and it was quite hard work and we kept getting splashed lots so we turned around... we weren't even over the reef :-( Mission aborted! lol!!!
After our failed mission we got changed/ready showered etc for dinner and headed off for dinner a little later than usual. Sazzy had a pizza and we can't remember what Badger had! But we did know we were picking up the mini tomorrow so we had to cease drinking pretty soon and go off to sleepie byes.

Day 10 Mauritius
THE MODERATE TROPICAL STORM 'LOLA' WAS CENTRED AT 1000 HOURS THIS MORNING IN LATITUDE 15.9 DEGREES SOUTH AND LONGITUDE 58.8 DEGREES EAST, THAT IS AT ABOUT 480 KM TO THE NORTH NORTH EAST OF MAURITIUS. IT IS MOVING AT ABOUT 10 KM/H. CLOUD BANDS ASSOCIATED WITH 'LOLA' WILL CONTINUE TO INFLUENCE THE LOCAL WEATHER.
So Basically the heavens have been open on and off all day!
This means another stressful day of drinking... Damn all the free beer and all the free cocktails....
Sazzy doesn't drink this much in a year at home!
Sazzy left Badger in bed this morning and came to the pub....
Sazzy uploaded the pics of the nature park today, the ones of the lions and the turtles and things...
Badger came and joined Sazzy in the pub and we each had Steak sandwiches again.
The staff then locked the doors to keep the rain out "LOCK IN!!!" lol
Due to serious rainfall and being locked in the pub we decided to look at car hire again ;-) so Sazzy went off to see if the hotel would change her Indian rupees to mauritian rupees... (some Fay and Mikey had left from India they kindly donated to the Sazzy spending fund!!! thank you!)
Being in the Indian Ocean you would think it would be easy to change the money over... Not on your life... Euros and US Dollas only!!! Damn!
Sazzy went off to ring our mate RAVI to see what cars he had, we were a bit fed up of the Lancer... it had no poke and coughed a little when you put your foot down... Sazzy wanted the Jimny Jeep so that they could have the roof down and go play on the beach hehe :-) (Puppy wanted to do donuts hehe) This was not available but we were offered a 1.6 mini convertable! We thought we stood more of a chance in the Mauritius rally Mountain stages in this car! So Badger went off to call Ravi again and book this "Demanding" as he put it car!!!
Yey MINI ADVENTURES!!! hehe.
Sazzy then ran off and bought Granny a little something ;-) hehe!
Sazzy rang Granny to see how her trip to Germany is going and to make sure her brother had not spent all Grannies pension hehe :-) She seemed happy enough sat in the NAFFI, she had been shopping and was off to do more shopping!!! :-)
Sazzy and Badger then went off for some dinner and remained in the bar for the rest of the night ;-)

... ermmm day 8...??? BADGERS BIRTHDAY!!!
Hmmm... Here goes...
Today we woke up at 7:30, well I did Sazzy went back to sleep while I went to breakfast. I had scrambled eggs on toast with sausages and for the first time here BACON!! :-) After breakfast I went back to the room (with some bread rolls for Sazzy) to make sure that Sazzy was up and getting ready, to my surprise she was up and ready :-P
Sazzy then gave me my birthday card from Fay and Mikey (thanks guys) I then packed my bag for the day while Sazzy waited for the ink to dry on her birthday card to me. We then headed off the the reception to pick up out picnic lunches for the day, but they tried to give us the lunches for room 3017 so while they sorted out that mess we went to collect the keys for a beast of a hire car! (see pics) Once we had done all the paper work for the hire car Sazzy went back to the room to collect the rest of the things for the day and I went to get our picnic.
At about 9:30 we set off the the bird park with Sazzy in the drivers seat! :-S After a few ass twitching moments we got there in one piece. We had to wait a few minutes before the bus came to take us down this very bumpy road. Once at the Lion enclosure we had to sign our lives away just in case the lions got hungry! We were then taken to where we would start our walk with the lions and given a do's and don'ts when walking with the lions. We were then each giving a stick just in case the lions got out of hand. Once all the formalities were out the way we started the walk! Our guide then took us around the park putting meat up trees and in various places to show us what the lions could do. Along the way the guide allowed us to touch the lions and took some pictures of us with the lions up the trees. This was a fantastic experience and I was able to take some really good pictures. Once we signed the visitors book we got back on the bus and headed back to the main building.
We got back and sat in the car with the aircon on full while we had our lunch. After our lunch we had a stroll around the bird park. There were peacock just strolling around without a care in the world. After dodging the very large sprinklers we came across the turtles! Well I think its mating season for turtles as everywhere we look there were turtles going at it like porn stars!! And making some very disturbing noises! (see pics ;-P) After the comical value of the turtles had worn off we continued our walk around the park, we saw some birdies, some ducks and swans, some tigers, (well one) and some little monkeys along with some other animals.
We then went to reception again... where... Sazzy (kept getting called mrs nolan lol!!!) sat and put some stuff on her Badger flea bites! And waited for our Quad biking guide to join us and take us away.
We walked back through the park... past the Turtles... lol to the quad departure point we again had to sign disclaimers and listen to the do's and don'ts of the activity. We were then issued with sexy blue dinnerlady style hair nets and helmets... (Sazzy sooo didn't have a kids one... ok she did just don't tell her dad!!!) we were then taken outside and everyone got on their quads and there were two short for Sazzy and Badger... so they bought another quad out... Sazzy explained we had paid for one each and Badger went off to join people on the practise track while they found another quad for Sazzy... who only got half a lap on the practise track... but just wanted to get into the real thing anyway...
We then lined up and were taken out into the park.... through the sprinklers that were watering the plants, on our way through the park we saw antelopey thingys, we stopped and looked at them. We saw hundreds of deers!!! (Sazzy was sooo not heard sitting there going awww look at bambi!!!)
We carried on through the park going through various rivery bits and up and down bumpy tracks neeeeeeeoooowmmmm!!!!!! We also saw some Ostriches and a few more peacocks and we stopped to take a look. We then carried on through the park going through more rivery things and more bumpy tracks... was sooooo cool!!!
After about 12km we stopped at the top of a massive hill and had a bottle of water each and some quick maintenance on the quads... some people had gotten a flat which they tried to plug with a stick... LOL!!! they then gave that quad to the photographer...!!!! Being so soft skinned Sazzy had a big big blister on her hand :(
we then continued on our way through the park, we stopped to see some HUUUUUGGGEEE Tortoise and then the next stop was when we saw some more deers and some ZEBRAS!!!! *good job we didn't bring the puppy...!!!*
We then hooned through the park doing more crazy exciting things... we went to go down a very very steep hill into the river and Sazzy came off :( This did not stop her getting back on and continuing down the river NEEEOOOOOOWWWMMMM... She kept looking back to see Badger going wild NNeeeeeeeeoooooooooooowwwwmmmmm too!!!!
we then finished the massive trek with a bit of a gentle ride through the park and back to the main departure point! When we got there they got out the first aid box and sorted everyone with blisters and things out, gave us all a drink of coke or sprite, we signed the guest book again and headed off to reception to have a look at our Pictures of the experience... which we will sort out at some point!
We were both absolutely knackered and didn't want to do much else!!! We got in the car, with Badger behind the wheel this time... and started to drive home. We were absolutely filthy, from head to toe in dried muck and all sorts!!! not to mention mud splashes all up our legs from ramping into rivers at 20kmh :) hehe.
We decided to go the scenic route home, which proved amusing. First we stopped at a beach and watched the sunset and took some pics (we shall be posting these on the website at some point!) We then continued... finding that the road had now become a dead end and we were kind of on a beachy thing.... Lol. Sazzy was asking for the chance to do doughnuts like what scardy pup does!!! (it was signposted scenic route!!!)
So we turned around and got back on the main road, where Badger took great pleasure in "seeing what the car had in it!!!" Making Sazzy's ass twitch like it's never twitched before!!!!
Sazzy then went to sleep for the rest of the journey!!!
We got back to the hotel, unpacked the car, went back to the room and were practically fighting over the shower! Badger looked like a native haha! We each had a shower, flagging up the problem that it was not draining and the whole bathroom was flooded!!! Sazzy then rang reception and sat outside to have a smoke. Badger just got ready for the evening and sorted himself out! (avoiding our new water feature) The guy came to check the shower and disappeared...
Sazzy got ready for dinner and we headed out for our long awaited steak Birthday dinner!!!
We got to the restaurant and were seated, we then chatted and Sazzy messed about with the camera blinding Badger a few times. Our steaks were bought out to us looking looooooovely. We both devoured our dinners, they did not touch the sides one bit!!! Badger was adamant that he wanted to get some pudding and I made him wait... I then gave in and took him up to have a look at the puddings. when we got back and sat down Badger had a beautiful birthday cake delivered and the staff trying to sing happy birthday to him! hehe :) the lady then went to give him the usual kiss on each cheek and Badger bless him didn't know what to do with himself.
After dinner we then headed to the bar... as we had been drink free before because of driving we had plenty of time to make up... we started on beer and B Freeze and by the end of the night Badger had sampled many cocktails and I had sampled a sip of each of his and one of my own they bought over for me!
After much drinking we were both soooooo tired we headed in and went to bed.... Nothing would have woken us up!!!
Oh and by that point they had replaced our towels and fixed our shower :) hehe
Lots of love Badger and Sazzy xxxx
Thank you Badger for my pressie of Quad biking and I hope you enjoyed yours! Happy Birthday xxxxx

We then continued... finding that the road had now become a dead end and we were kind of on a beachy thing....
